Open Question: Please Read... Old Car... Getting Tickets for it...?
Hello. I live in Texas (if that helps with anyone who knows the laws here) I sold my old car more than two years ago... and just recently got an impound notice for it, and then a parking ticket. I went to the impound last week (I wanted to tell them to just sell the car or something)... and someone had went and picked it up. I asked him how to receive my name taken OFF the title (since I just signed it, and he signed it) and they explained how. Through this they gave me the oppurtunity to receive the information of the person that picked it up from the pound. Is it legal to contact them and tell them to receive the title switched over? Can I report the car stolen if they say no? Since the title is still in my name, therefor the car is sort of in my name... I want to cease getting every of these notices and receive it off my name. I have sent them the paper back saying I have sold the car. Hopefully this will clear it up. Something else silly, the license dish hasn't changed in two years... does that mean they are *illegally* driving it around (Since they can't receive the registration on it?)

I was stopped at a cease light the other day and I noticed a car next to me was looking pretty sweet. It was 4 door, manual, looked a little fancy, but probably nothing over 30 or 40k. I am still trying to figure out what type of car it is. The symbol looked like a bold "M" I am pretty sure there were some words below the symbol, but I couldn't distinguish it. I am pretty good at determining what type of car a car is, so I was shocked when I just could not identify this one. Please help! Answer gets 5 Stars!!!

Open Question: whats wrong with my car?
i have two problems with it. 1. when i steer it, it gets to normal operating temp. and i turn it off. when i try to start it, it doesnt even click (like a dead battery). the lights dim on the dash board when the ignition is in start. i have to wait for it to chilly down before it will start. 2. when i start the car in the morning. it immediately starts clicking. i have had many people say it may be a lifter??? it stops in the higher rpm's when it is revved. but the wierd thing is even when it is warm or hot it clicks. It is a 95 honda accord v6 2.7 ltr. please help.... thanx.

Open Question: will i lose my medicaid insurance if i make this amount of money?
i have a job at staples, just now working there i make 7 dollars an hour :( i work there about 20 to 25 hours a week or less and im 18 years old i want to keep every of it or MOST of it to keep up for an apartment when i go to college in 3 years about my mom does not have a job she cant receive one yet cause i was in a car accident and we have to receive the surgeries done first which is in about 5 months, just a scar removal surgery and its going to be paid from insurance obviously, but what i dont understand is the fact that if i keep the money, will i lose the medicaid insurance? i want to put it in an account (the money) so what can i do so i dont lose it if this is the case? Open Question: Really needing advice! Long story but please read!?
Okay, a little bit of a backdrop. One night I went to pick up my pal's girlfriend and her pal to go to a party that my pal was at. When we arrive, we were told that this pal of mine went to the hospital. Ofcourse his girlfriend freaks out so I gun it to the hospital so we could make sure he is okay. While in the waiting room, my pal's girlfriend goes in to look my pal and leaves me and her pal to be waiting. We start to talk about various things...like what sports we do, school, our first experience with marajuana (we don't use it, but we have both tried it once) and we talked about just various other things. She felt comfortable enough to remove a sticker on my new shirt I was wearing that I hadn't seen. She also did hint on to not having a boyfriend when I was talking about how I have no interest in the girls that my friends generally hang out with. Now, one night at work I receive a text message from her, so she took the liberty to add my phone number and send me the first text, i was flattered to say the least as I normally am the one to find the girl's in order to talk to her. We kept in communication through texting, we also went to the beach together among friends in which she chose to sit "Shotgun" alongside me. We talked on the way there and back and had a few good laughs and whatnot, would of been an excellent time to ask her out if there weren't 3 other people in the car with us. But now that school has started, we don't talk very often at every. I do try and text her, but I never receive any replies back anymore. I have tried very difficult not to hurt this girl's feelings or to shun her in any way. I asked my pal's girlfriend whom i am friends with if there is a reason she doesn't answer back to me anymore. She said she is just working alot...but she will still receive the messages? Personally i've always tried to message back if I can't receive to it right away, but maybe she just really is that busy. I saw her at school the other day and dropped in to talk a bit, she showed marginal interest, but paid more attention to a yearbook with my pal's girlfriend. Though, to be honest, they both really didn't pay too much attention, so I let them be and told them I'll look them later. This girl is dropdead gorgeous in my eyes and in many others. She is 1 year younger than me, but she shares the same group of friends as mine despite the age difference. Her personality is great! she is one of the very few genuine people i've met at school. She has principles, and she's sweet. One of the things that i truly adore about her is that she has a slight accent, its noticeable, but subtle, she mentioned it before and I told her I actually liked it. I'm not that attractive in my personal opinion, I do look alot better without glasses on...but until i receive contacts (hopefully soon) i look sort of nerdy. I dress well, i'm average build, i do look pretty good in a tight t-shirt. I do have a good sense of style but I never blow it out the top and despite being darker skinned, she really likes the idea of being darker. She is of completely different ethnicity and her parents are very religious and they set alot of rules, i'm willing to work around that in anyway I can. I've never been told i'm hot or sexy, but i've also never been told i'm ugly unless it were my friends trying to just make fun of me lol. I've spent time with plenty of girls at parties and what not, and I seem to captivate interest. Now, she did ask if she could steer my car once. I told her no, but maybe some other time. By law, I can't let her steer with me in the passenger seat due to my driving experience. But I was thinking about taking her out to the country to give her a few lessons regardless. Sure i'm a new driver, but I know the ways of the road pretty well, atleast enough to lend some help to her. I ofcourse wouldn't take her around in the city or on the highway, just silent roads, and or i'll take her to a parking lot to tutor her the idea of reverse parking and whatnot. I thought I could maybe make some sort of day out of it and take her out somewhere to eat too! I do truly wish i receive alot of answers for this, i've posted a few times and I'm still looking for more opinions. I do not want to put a strain on a perfectly good friendship. I am also one of those people who requires a good amount of confidence in order to act. I really do want to ask this girl out, and I probably could too, if I were drunk it'd be easy but it wouldn't mean as much to me and i'm sure it wouldn't mean as much to her haha. Are the signs there that she does have atleast some sort of tiny interest in me, enough to give me enough confidence to ask her out?

Open Question: is a gram of CO2 really a gram?
I don't receive how a low polluting car can emit 120g (approx) of CO2...it seems like a lot. And if it's that heavy, does it every really go up in smoke, in the atmosphere? Does some of it not just fall straight to the ground? Am I missing something? Thanks

Open Question: I Think My Wife is Cheating on Me.?
I'm hesitant to post this, but I really need the some advice on what could be one of the most dramatic decisions I've ever made in my life. I suspect that my wife has been cheating on me for some time now... So far it's the usual warning flags… the caller hangs up if I answer the phone when it rings. My lady has been "going out with the girls" much more lately but when I ask their names she just says, “Some friends from work you don’t know yet.” I stay up tardy to look for the cab bringing her home, but she always walks down the steer as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner, since I can hear a car somewhere. I really think she's isn't arriving by cab... Once I picked up her cell phone to look what time it was and she went crazy and told me that I should never touch her phone again and got every defensive about "why was I checking up on her?" You can look I'm nervous to bring up the subject with my wife because I think deep down I'm not sure I want to admit truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to receive to the bottom of things. I decided to hide out close the bushes in the front yard so I could receive a good view of the whole road when she came home. It was at that moment, sitting in the bushes with my wireless laptop, that I decided my PC is too damn slow and needs an update. So should I finally start using Windows Vista or do you think I should keep using XP?

Open Question: getting kicked out of my apartment.. help!!!?
so heres to deal, after my husband got out of trucking school, its been super difficult for him to find a job. His dad has been paying for us (he's loaded) to live here, but today out of nowhere he tells us he's cutting off the money. Now, we have some unemployment coming in, but not enough to live off of. We need to leave the apartment, but we have nowhere to go. My parents can't have us because there is already 7 people living there. And we don't know anyone else. What should we do? How can we make it to live in our car but not receive in trouble with the cops ect?

Open Question: Continuous car accident dreams... what does it mean?
I keep on dreaming that I'm speeding/driving in a red light/turning car in a wrong direction/hitting a wall/hitting another car.... and so on... but some how every single time I manage to cease myself from going through that accident. For example... when every time I dreamt of hitting a wall or another vehicle while i was driving... i managed to put the breaks right b4 i hit that object... i.e. i'd cease the car an inch away from the object... and if i dream of speeding through red light i'd manage to keep myself from an accident by turning the car according to the direction of the green light. So far I dream of almost having an accident but not really having one except for once when I saw that I was almost dying but then I kept on screaming in my dream that it is a dream and that I will wake up and that nothing can go wrong... I know this is a lot to ask... but does anyone know what this means... i mean i have these dreams every now and then... and it is pretty annoying... also i'm too scared to steer on highways because of these dreams... p.s. I must add that I had a bad car accident 5 years ago when I was out with my friends (i wasn't driving and there were constructions on the road with no signs on and the driver overlooked it) ... the car did a 360 degrees turn and hit another car.. even thought the front half of the cars was smashed completely nobody was hurt except for me... but it wasn't that serious... i got well after few weeks but have been scared of speed ever since coz the image keeps flashing.... i dont know if this is related to my dream or not ...

Open Question: Relationships/Bestfriends/Young Love?
I became best friends with this one guy in the beginning of 7th grade, and we dated for a little bit. And he moved like 6-9 hours away at the end of 7th grade. I have now just started my sophmore year of highschool, and at the end of this year we will have known eachother for 4 whole years. He is honestly my best pal in the whole entire world, and we have really strong feelings for eachother. I honestly don't think it possible that I could feel this different about another person. He is coming to visit his family and me this year at Christmas time. But my plan is that I am getting a job very soon, and my allow also very soon, so I am gonna receive a car by next year and have my license by sometime next year, and I can arrive up and visit him occasionally. We promised that we would receive married at 20 years old. And we talk on Im a lot, and send e-mails sometimes. Please don't call me stupid, I just want to know, is it possible that we could, or will end up together, tell me your first adore stories, and did it last?

Open Question: What would you tell your mom if she's dating a married man?
My mom is currently dating a married man and she's ok that he's married. I'm almost embarrassed to say this but she says that there is a shortage of men in the world...LORD HAVE MERCY...But I don't know how to tell her that I'M sleepy OF IT and I don't want to hear about their relationship anymore, don't want to be involved, don't want to hear about him PERIOD. Everytime she visits she's talking to me about what his "wife" doesn't do at home and that she's lazy and don't do anything. SHE'S BEEN IN THIS lady'S home YALL. SHE'S DRIVEN THIS lady'S CAR...I don't know how to tell her how totally disrespectful, low-down and just plain wrong that she's step foot in another lady's home/car. He's a truck driver and she goes with him on his routes...This has been going on for almost a year and it's just gotten old. I don't know how to tell her without hurting her feelings. I'm thinking what is she going to do if this man's wife confronts her with a beat down. This guy is never going to leave his wife, I just don't think he will. Open Question: How Can I Get Through Canada's Border?
I want to go to Canada, but I have a problem with my car that may make me look suspicious to border agents and customs officers. The window on the driver's side is jammed on my car. I cannot open the window on my driver's side. I can only open the window on my right on the passenger's side. Damn window switch won't work. God damn I hate cars, they always have electric problems. I guess it's part of being made in mexico. Therefore, if customs officials want to talk to me, I will have to open my door or the window at the opposite of me. Will this look suspicious ? Will they tear appart my car because of this ? What must I do to make it through the border intact despite this problem ? VW Jetta? How did you know it was a VW ?

Open Question: Community project help for Ethics class?
I am taking Ethics, and my class has been assigned a project that will better the school, community, or world. We are allowed to work in groups of three or less, and we are having trouble deciding how to do this project. The project has to be original, and some ideas would be nice. We can't say, "Oh, we did Habitat for Humanity," or things like that. A car wash or bake sell wouldn't be original enough either. Know that we won't steal your idea completely; it's supposed to be our possess, but some starters would be nice. :] Think of something really neat or a really great organization to donate to! It would also be nice if they were related somehow...

Open Question: Hypothetically, if starting up a Mobile Electronics business?
Ok, so Im curious as to what the pros and cons of starting up a Mobile Electronics Business would be. I was just thinking, it would be chilly if me and my bro and my two cousins could start up our possess store, since we every like car audio and just customizing cars. Im talking about opening up a store that actually does custom jobs and stuff, not like Audio Express where they run wires at but subs in pre-build MDF boxes and stick it in the trunk (thats what they do where im from anyway). Now of course I know it takes more than a will to start a store, to actually start one. First off, what would business be like? I know it would depend on where we live, but generally, how long would it take for business to start picking up and for word of our store to receive out? Also, Would there be much business, because I know there are a lot of do-it-yourself-ers out there. Secondly, about how much would we expect to drop to receive a location, including buying equipment, tools, products, etc etc. Also, to receive the name out about our store, we would most likely have to do some car sponsorships right? Hook up some people with gear and make nice show cars in return for us sticking an advertisement on their car. Also, what nice of jobs would you need to hire for? I know probably one of us would have to major in business to receive the business started and to manage the money and inventory, and of course the installers...what other jobs might be involved? I'm no where close starting my possess store, I'm just curious as to how much work it would take and whether it would even be worth it in the future to do this. Thanks for the help!

Open Question: Visions of people and spiders?
Ok, ive been to look a few mediums in the past and theyve every told my i have strong psychic powers. Obviously i dont move object with my mind lol but i do look into the future alot, id say about twice a week i receive that deja vu feeling, but unlike most people i vividly remember whats about to happen! Anyway, baring in mind im quite a psychic being lol i VERY often look people that arnt there. Almost every day i catch someone in the corner of my eye, a dark figure almost like a shadow walking away or disappearing round a corner. But twice now, ive seen some who appears to be very real indeed before vanishing completely. One instance i was in my mates car and we were driving along, i was sat next to my GF in the back when i looked past her and out the window, i was looking at a man standing in the road next to the car and he was staring at me, but as we went forwards my vision was blocked by the window pillar and after that he was gone, after that i must have looked really shocked or scared because my GF asked me what i was looking at and i didnt say anything, she even looked out the window herself but didnt look anything! I can even describe the man i saw but i have no idea who he was or why he would have any importance towards me?! He was about 6 - 6,2", Slim but well built and had blonde but slightly red hair, he was wearing jeans and a kinda yellow sandy coloured what looked to be suade jacket! I cant remember the second instance i saw someone like that but i do remember it was a lady. Now back to the smaller side of life, recently in the last month ive been seeing ALOT of spiders that arnt there! What do spiders mean and how can i be seeing people this vividly that arnt really there? Please Help

I just turned 43 last week. I'm really a nice-looking lady. I am 5'9" and about 135 pounds, long blond hair, great legs, but I have had three kids and I have some saggy skin on my tummy and breasts that keep me from being as open sexually as I would like. I was married for almost 20 years and my ex didn't want me to have surgery for his possess reasons (afraid I'd leave I think), but my now boyfriend of almost three years REALLY REALLY wants me to have a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. He is almost 60 and has kept himself up VERY well. The surgery is very expensive for me- $15,000, but if I had the money I'd do it. My daughter claims that if he really loved me he wouldn't make such an issue of it and would adore me no matter what. Do men think that way? His feelings are well known to me because he mentions it every the time - "when are you going to have the surgery?" Should I do it for both of us, or should I take the hint that he really doesn't adore me or it wouldn't bother him so much. He says that I look fantastic with my clothes on, but naked he doesn't like at every. I just feel ashamed and mad and unhappy about it. I do know that if I did it and had a fantastic body too, I would feel more sexy and proud. Should I be mad that he makes me feel "less than?" I feel like we only make adore once a week and he claims that my excess skin turns him off. So what, it's going to happen only when he feels a real physical need? I need advice here. BTW - There's no possible way I could or would have him pay for the surgery, so my only real option is to finance it over three years like a car - $500 a month.

Open Question: Muscle-Building workouts to do at home?
I am limited to working out at home because I do not have a gym pass nor a car. Currently I have a tiny EZ Bar with 50 pounds on it. I usually do 20 pushups a day, sit-ups, curls and side bridges. What else can I add into so I can receive more of a workout> I am 18, 141 pounds, 5ft 9 in and consume a Muscle Milk every other day.

I work at a supermarket part-time while I'm doing my teaching degree. & I'm currently looking for a new job. So here's how my story goes... I worked at a supermarket part-time in the service deli while I was in highschool but was continuously harrassed by an extremely immature 50 year old lady, where I thought it was my fault, but after her yelling at me & making me sob, reporting me to the store manager for having fake nails and her throwing a broom at me because I didn't sweep properly I got trasferred to another supermarket where my then boyfriend worked. He worked in produce while I was in the butchery department. & the manager said that it was okay for us to be dating and working in the same store. I really enjoyed my new job & became very good friends with one of my co-workers but everyone warned me about the store manager. After I had been working at this new job for about a year my boyfriend & I decided to end our relationship on good terms & we stayed friends. I then started dating my co-worker who I am now very deeply in adore with. Since this, it seems our store manager has picked on us for everything! To name a few: 1.) My partner hurt his face in a BMX accident & it started bleeding at work, so I stopped to clean up his face for him, this somehow turned into "I was sitting on the bench & we were mucking around." We then had a meeting for this & I got my first written warning. 2.) A co-worker asked me to text my partner & ask him to arrive in to do her shift as she felt sick & wanted to go home. I got caught by the store manager & explained, he refused to believe me and I got my second written warning. 3.) I lost my best pal about a month ago now, but a week after his car accident, it hit me he was gone & I started crying at work & a pal of mine took me outside to console me, we went to receive a soft drink & someone hit my car, turning out 15 minute break into a 45 minute break. This leadning to my third warning. 4.)My store manager then constantly surveillenced me and watched my every move, waiting for me to slip up, even when I was polite and dignified he would still act miserable and unsatisfied by my work performance. At this time losing my pal was just so difficult for me to deal with, aswell as the turnover of a new relationship, trying to keep the friendship with my ex and every this going on at work. One night my partner & I went on a break together, which is normal as we're not in the same department & alot of other people do this to, but the store manager got so mad, yelling at us both. We took our required time and everything, but he got irrationaly mad. I couldn't take it anymore & snapped, swearing at a customer, which is so out of character for me.. I had another meeting and my store manager said I can keep my job but one more slip up & I'm gone.. This doesn't seem fair? If he wants to flame me why didn't he? I should be fired.. Also my partner and I are no longer allowed to take breaks together anymore and we didn't know this & went on one together, our store manager came bounding out and told us to receive back to work, surely this seems a bit over the top? Also, my partner is now in trouble because he took an hour and a half break the other night, he needs an excuse, or he's going to be in trouble 'cause now he has a meeting. What can he say? Also, I find this unfair because my partner and I both have a good work ethic and stay on task, where a girl we work with takes almost two hour breaks and sometimes longer and she fails to complete most her tasks, so why has she not been pulled up about this? Are we fair to say we're both being picked on? & it's not because we're dating as the managers have said they're fine with this aslong as it doesn't effect our work performance and it hasn't been..
