That big brown spot on a perfect world
“Outside of traffic, there is nothing that has held this country back as much as committees.” -Will Rogers One day if we wake up to a world without war, without famine, without disease or poverty, we might be inclined to think that we’ve finally made it. There were a lot of folks who felt like that the day following the collapse of the Soviet Union… or the first morning when there was no Berlin Wall. Oh well. But this isn’t about the icy War or the fall of Russian communism… or even the ris

Post apocalyptic script review: WORLD WAR Z
Let's just receive one thing out of the way before we receive down to it shall we? I have a confession to make; I haven't read "World War Z" the novel. I know, I know zombie fan blasphemy right? And normally I would agree with you but you look, after finishing what is no doubt the most complex and epic zombie script ever written, I consider this blight against my name to, in fact, be a blessing in disguise. Because I'll tell ya; if a 127 page screenplay could be this dense, I can only imagine how big i

Bentley cutting production on the back of falling sales
Coming off record sales of 10,014 vehicles last year, Bentley has been forced to reduce production and ask more than a third of staff at its Crewe factory in the UK to work just a three-day week. Some 1,400 employees of Bentley’s 4,000 strong staff will work the reduced shift in an effort to clip production by around 15%, with blame being centered on falling sales. The reduction in sales, which had occurred mostly in the U.S., has been attributed to a variety of factors, including higher pet

Crime Strikes Home
Last night, while my sister and her family slept peacefully, someone came to her home and stole her son's car, another son's dirt bike, clip the gas lines on her car and her husband's car, and rifled through every of the cars, stealing personal electronics and other items of value. My nephews' car and dirtbike were found a few miles away, abandoned and torched. It's time to rethink selling my handguns.

Update on CIA drug plane owned by “Donna Blue Aircraft, Inc”
Here's an update on the odd story of the Gulfstream II jet filled with 3.7 tons of cocaine that crashed in the Yucatan last year. Bainbridge and Salmon Ladders
We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island on Thursday. The trip on the water was pretty rad as you receive to look every of the skyline and Mount Rainier from a distance. The total length of the ride is about 35minutes and the cabin is quite spacious with comfortable chairs. It seems that commuting by ferry every morning and evening could be a relatively easy task. The island of Bainbridge is relatively boring. Lots of cars and a mix of shops that would make my mom very glad. It was just like Stillwate

Prius Vs. Pickup
Prius Vs. Pickup General Comments Not that too many people are actually buying new vehicles these days….but here is something to consider. With high gas prices, a car that gets 45mpg seems like an obvious choice and financially savvy. With high gas prices, a truck that only gets 20 mpg seems like a stupid choice. You can buy a new Toyota Prius hybrid for about $22,000 - that is if you can find one on the lot. Alternatively, you can buy a new Toyota Tacoma pickup truck for about $15,000.
